Wir haben beschlossen, den Support für ESR 115 nur unter Windows 7–8.1 und macOS 10.12–10.14 bis März 2026 zu verlängern.
Wir werden diese Entscheidung im Februar 2026 erneut prüfen und dann etwaige Aktualisierungen zum Ende der Lebensdauer von ESR 115 bekannt geben.

I have an issue trying to install Firefox in Ventura (both on a real machine and a VM): it takes a long time to launch and doesn't work correctly (UI not reacting, sites not loading). Tried 115 ESR and 140 ESR. I've seen a few other people in forums having the same issue, but no clear explanation and no fix. Instead, LibreWolf 148 works perfectly! 😲 I probably should try Firefox's Release channel, as in may be an ESR issue, but in the meantime it was easier and faster to switch to Brave, for various reasons...

Yippeeeee! Mozilla has decided to extend support for its already Extended Support Release (which makes it an EESR indeed... 😄) until at least March 2025 and the release of Firefox ESR 115.21. There's a possibility that it will get further extension, as Mozilla's decision is based on usage statistics to determine whether it is extending support. So, if like me you're happy with such a decision, check the privacy prefs for authorizing Mozilla to collect information, I've always kept them unchecked but now I'm seeing a clear benefit out of it. 👍 Mozilla, I love you! 😍
